Iridescent Ideas CIC, PKF Francis Clark, Social Enterprise Mark CIC, University of St Mark & St John and Tribe Media are delighted to unveil the remaining three finalists for the Forerunner Prize 2016. We would like to congratulate:
Lauren Page for her application for Aulm: a rehabilitation device that encourages the gross movement of the arm and shoulder of people who have suffered a stroke. Siobhan Gardiner for her application for HEROTECH8; accessible, reliable and enabling robotics – automated drone infrastructure for agriculture and humanitarian logistics. Shereen Nabhani-Gebara with colleagues Reem Kayyali and Nada Philip for CanAdvice: a comprehensive interactive model health system that supports cancer patients at home and allows them to report side effects in real time and receive advice from their health care professionals in an effort to reduce complications, A&E visits and unscheduled hospital admissions. Our panel members now have the unenviable task of choosing an overall winner from these six fantastic tech-based social ideas. We hope to announce our first Forerunner Prize winner in October so watch this space…
