Genesis Building, Plymouth, Devon

Genesis Building offers economic regeneration and renewal in one of the most deprived areas of Plymouth, supporting entrepreneurial ambition while opening doors for the local community to shape its own future. This business centre is now occupied by new and established businesses, community interest companies and social enterprises and boasts the South West’s largest living wall made up of more than 18,000 plants.

The judges said, “The Genesis Building epitomises the criteria required for the community benefit award.”
