May 2016: Iridescent Ideas launches The Forerunner Prize!

Iridescent Ideas launches The Forerunner Prize, with support from partners.  The Forerunner Prize aims to give technology a social edge.

The Forerunner Prize provides an opportunity for anyone to develop a tech-led business idea that has a good cause (i.e. social enterprise). The idea will solve problems and make a positive impact in the world. 

Our focus in 2016 is on any of the following areas:

• Bio, health and medical technology
• Environmental technology
• Space industries
• Advanced engineering
• Nanotechnology
• Other science, technology or engineering related ideas

The winner will win £1,000 cash and over £4,000 worth of professional business support to develop a business plan.
