August 2016: We've made the SEUK national awards shortlist!

Iridescent Ideas has just been shortlisted for a national SEUK award. ​

We are listed in the Social Impact category. The awards ceremony is on the 28th November at the Grand Connaught Rooms. 

Gareth Hart, Director of Iridescent Ideas, said: "It is great to receive national recognition like this and it goes to show that a small business, like us, can make a big difference.
 
“We’ve been working hard to help people in Plymouth and the South West set up and run successful social enterprises.

"We've also worked hard to improve, consult our partners and try to create more impact - an example being the recent launch of our Forerunner Prize which re-invests some of our profits in future tech social entrepreneurs.

"We're up against some great social enterprises and have our fingers crossed!"

The Social Impact award is for any social enterprise that can truly demonstrate and communicate their impact with their stakeholders. The criteria for the award were that the social enterprise can demonstrate:

• A clear articulation of theory of change and impact, proving the organisations mission and objectives
• Transparency in the process of findings (including stakeholder engagement)
• Good quantitative and qualitative evidence
• Its impact on a specified community, be it geographic or community of interest
• How it has communicated its impact in accessible and creative ways
• How it will utilise evaluation to improve its work.
