​Our social enterprise of the month for March is Stand4 Socks

​Following February’s jaunt into space, March’s social enterprise of the month is all about keeping our feet firmly on the ground… and nice and warm… and beautifully dressed... and helping out a good cause to boot!

Who are they?
Stand4 Socks is a social enterprise that links socks with social causes and charity, giving ordinary purchases, extra ordinary purposes!
 
Where are they?
Stand4 Socks are based in Stowmarket in Suffolk.
 
What they do?
Stand4 Socks are partnered with charities and NGOs that work to tackle the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals and have created unique socks for each of these goals.

By adapting the ‘buy one give one' model, when you buy a pair of our socks, instead of giving a pair of socks, Stand4 Socks give a measurable, tangible aid in the form of education, food, medicine, trees healthcare and safe land.

Stand4 Socks don't just increase awareness of social causes in the world, but also raise funds, giving away nearly 20% of REVENUE, not profit to their charities.
 
Why do we like them?
Personally, I love a good novelty sock, but a novelty sock with a good cause is positively irresistible! Each pair of socks represents a different charity, so you can show what you Stand4.

Stand4 Socks have a beautiful vision, demonstrate their impact really clearly and even quote Dr Seuss on their website. What’s not to like?!
